Veggie Inspired Thanksgiving Table

Veggie Inspired Thanksgiving Table

You don't have to get fancy to have a pretty table. Use what you have in your fridge to decorate your Thanksgiving table this year. These candles are easy and affordable and you can always eat the vegetables after!

I wrapped the tall candle with uncooked asparagus and the smaller candle with green beans. I used natural rope to tie the veggies onto the candles and a piece of burlap as the table runner. A bunch of white pumpkins were placed around the candles to finish the look.

I placed this candle in a bowl with pine nuts. You can use whatever you have to place around the candle. Cranberries and dried nuts would be lovely as well. My pine nuts were already going bad so that's why the candle is placed in the middle. If you were planning on eating the nuts you were using I would recommend placing the candle in another votive so it didn't touch the food. As for all the other veggies, the wax doesn't drip down the sides of the candle and you can always wash those veggies after : )

Have a wonderful and super creative Thanksgiving!

What a great idea. I never buy flowers, I just go outside and cut some. So rustic, I am totally doing this :)
