Muffin Tin Advent Calendar

What you need
(1) 24 muffin tin
4 different colors of 12" x 12" construction paper
Scissors
Glue stick
Double-sided tape or "dot glue" strips
Sticker Numbers (from any craft store)

Directions
1. Measure your muffin tin holes from side to side and add 1/4" all the way around. Depending on the tin you select, you will have to cut 24 (approximate 2") circles.I used three different colored papers for the circles, but you could easily just use green or red.

2. Using cream colored construction paper (or the color of your choice) cut out 24 small Christmas trees. I used this stencil here and just shrunk it down. Christmas Tree Stencil  NOTE: They also sell Christmas tree stencils at the craft store or ...... a little trick I use all the time: Google "Christmas tree" in Google images and hold your paper on your computer screen and trace the tree right onto your paper. The light from the computer screen will show through the paper making it super simple to trace. Voila! You now have your own little stencil : )

3. Using a glue stick apply your little trees in the middle of all your circles. Attach sticker numbers to the center of the trees.

4. Fill your muffin tins with candies or little gifts then apply double sided tape on the back (at the top and bottom) of the paper circle and attach to the muffin tin. If you are going to the craft store, they sell "glue dots" which are basically little adhesive round circles and those work well too. If your muffin tin has holes at the top, you can hang with a ribbon or simply just place on your counter top!
