Minnie Mouse Hair Style
My best friend Stacey is a celebrity hair stylist and she always creates the most beautiful styles on herself and her kids so I asked her if she would demonstrate her super cool Minnie Mouse Hair style.
Of course she said Yes! Scroll down to see Stacey create this hair style on her beautiful baby girl, Emma Grace.

Make sure your child's hair is brushed out and tangle free.

Now grab your gel and work a small amount through the hair.

** If you don't want to use gel for this you don't have to, but it makes for a cleaner bow. You can also use baby detangler to make the hair damp and easy to work with.

Run your fingers straight back through the hair and add a little more gel.

Now use a brush to comb the gel through and create a smooth, very high (side) pony tail.

Make sure your child's pony tail is very tight. Smooth down all hairs around the head.

Now grab a hair tie.

Wrap the hair tie around the pony tail one time.

Now twist the hair tie around the pony tail again. Be sure to keep the hair tight.

Now pay attention, on your last wrap around before the hair tie becomes too tight to wrap one more time, you are going to wrap the hair but not pull the hair all the way through. I will show you below.

Pull the hair completely forward.

And on the last wrap around, wrap the hair tie around the hair but do not pull the hair through the band.

Your child should now have a super tight bun on top of their head with the extra hair sticking out the front.

Now separate the bun in half and grab three bobby pins.

Spread the bun completely in half and smooth everything out with your hands so it looks even.

Now pull the excess hair up and through the middle of the bun.

It goes right through the bun separating the hair and creating the "bow".

Now use one of your bobby pins to secure the hair in the back of the head.

Place the pin as close to the bow as you can.

Now pull down on the sides of the hair so the hair fans out and makes a large bow.

Now place another bobby pin at the bottom of one side of the hair bow so you secure the bottom pieces of hair to the head.

See how the bobby pin holds down the bow?

Do the same on the other side. And spray down any flyaway hair.

And there you go! The Perfect Minnie Mouse "Hair" (literally) Bow!

Thank you Stacey & Emma!! XO

Can you take a pic of the back of the Minnie mouse bow do? I am wandering what do you do with the rest of the ponytail hair once it is pinned back to make the middle of the bow? There is still extra hair there, where do you tuck it? Very cute though
