DIY Frozen Icicles

It has been FROZEN mania for the last year in our household.
Let it go.
Let it go.
Ok, I'm sorry.
I will admit, that there was a point that I would actually listen to Let it Go in the car when I was driving alone. Hey, it's a good song.
It has just been played over and over ...
and over ...
and over ...
and over ...
My littlest baby, Ollie Beans, wanted a Frozen party for her third birthday and what Mama is going to say no to that?! Not me. I whipped out my white glitter and glue gun and at 11 PM at night I came up with a clever way to make icicles. If any of you are throwing a Frozen Party ..... which I am sure 99% of you are .... you will want to check out this super easy tutorial below : )

Bring on the snow.

The cold never bothered me anyway.

How obnoxious am I?

Ok, so this is super easy guys. Have you ever made little glue gun people on your marble counters? I know I'm not the only person who did this growing up. If you have a marble surface or a concrete counter top you can make hot glue images on your counter. Draw a little stick figure, wait for it to cool and then peel it off. Well this is the same concept, except we are making hot glue lines (AKA icicles). You are going to use the hot glue gun to draw a straight line down your counter. Make some 6", some 3", some a little Zigzag. You get the point. And while the glue is still hot, you will want to sprinkle white glitter over the tops of the glue lines. Let everything cool for about two minutes.

Once the glue is dry, you can peel it off the counter with your fingers and pile them all up. Brush the excess glitter back into your container so you can reuse it.

Now, using your hot glue icicles simply attach them to branches (I spray painted my branches white) with more hot glue.

1. Using your hot glue gun, make glue lines carefully down your counter top. Make them all different lengths like real icicles.

2. Generously dust your hot glue lines with white glitter and let cool for 2-3 minutes.

3. Once hot glue is completely cool, peel off counter top with your fingers.

4. Spray paint your branches white and let dry. Attach finished icicles with more hot glue.
