I feel like Day 1 of the new year is reserved for sleeping in, sitting on the couch watching the rose parade, lounging around the house, packing up Christmas decorations, and thinking about what you need to do to get your life in order. Day 2 of the New Year is a little less relaxing, because by now you have a serious caffeine deprivation headache and you are craving bread, bagels, biscuits, rolls, baguettes, and croissants. Or maybe that's just me? Whatever the case, you know you have to get your ass off the couch and eat something healthy because how embarrassing would it be if you broke your New Year resolution in the first week?
Total Fail.

I had a piece of chocolate yesterday.
OMG I know.
And 12 M&ms.

Which is why I am here to help you.
Ok, and me.
I normally flood your inbox with fudge, cookies, and something covered in chocolate ... or glitter .... but today I am giving you 3 easy and delicious green smoothie recipes that you can make in your own home. You can make these while you lounge around. Or while you clean the house. Heck, I even gave you different combos in case you don't have one of the ingredients. It doesn't get easier than this my cranky carb-deprived friends. Throw on some pants, make a green smoothie, and lunge back and forth to your bedroom a couple times today. We are getting in shape people!

Alright, let's do this.

The Anything Combo Green Smoothie

Pick 1
2 cups of Spinach
1 cup of Kale
1/2 cup raw Broccoli

Pick 1
1 Green Apple
1 large Banana
1 cup Pineapple
1 cup Blueberries

Pick 1
1 cup Water
1 cup plain Yogurt

Kale-Peach Smoothie

2 cups chopped kale
1 1/2 cups frozen peaches
1 1/2 cups fresh pineapple
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup apricot juice OR Water

Kiwi-Spinach Smoothie

1 1/2 Bananas
Handful Spinach Leaves
4 ripe Kiwis
1/2 Cucumber or 1/2 Green Apple
