1 Step-Tank top to Grocery Bag

What you will need
Heavy-weight tank top (Preferably with thicker straps; no spaghetti straps)
Sewing machine

1. Turn your tank top inside out and pin the bottom along the hem. Using a sewing machine, sew the bottom of the tank closed. Once the tank is sewn, turn it inside out and you're DONE! (Quick Tip: If you want to make the bag more durable overlap the material and sew a double seam.)

Get creative and use tanks with logos, patterns, etc. Good luck! XO

These would be so great when I take my grandkids to the beach as they can be easily thrown into my purse when going and into the washer when we get back! Love it!! Oh and come to think of it, since they are coming this summer and we are going to Lego Land.... they can be carried in my purse into the park, and filled as we go along the park YEA!!!

This sounds like a great idea. I was actually going to go try to look for some tank tops this weekend. I don't know how to use a sewing machine so I am going to try to sew it by hand or use bonding tape.
